Staff members from Bendigo Bank’s Pakenham branch were up bright and early as they took part in a ‘feel good Wednesday’ initiative.

Taking to Pakenham station on Wednesday 11 September from 6am, smiling staff were on hand to distribute colourful gerberas flowers to female train commuters, adding a splash of colour as they wished everyone a great day.

Bendigo Bank has a strong commitment to feed into the prosperity of communities across the country, with initiatives like this an example of how the branches align with this commitment.

Pakenham Branch Manager Eddy Leo said he was hoping the day would prompt the fellas to think about buying their loved ones flowers on the day.

“Recipients of the gerberas were pleasantly surprised and grateful to receive the unexpected early morning floral gift, with many returning smiles and warmly thanking staff,” Mr Leo said.

“We hope this small effort made a big difference to Pakenham’s early morning, hump day commuters.”
