Two members of the Rotary Club of Pakenham have been recognised and rewarded for their services to the club and their community.

Peter Rowlands was presented with a Paul Harris Fellowship. Named in honour of Rotary founder Paul Harris in 1905, the club makes a domination of $1000 USD to the Rotary Foundation.

The donation is used in worldwide humanitarian and educational projects and nominates the recipient to be named a Paul Harris Fellow.

Meanwhile, fellow member Terry Williams was presented with his second Sapphire Pin to his Paul Harris Fellowship, which he received back in 2001. Mr Williams received his first pin in 2012.

Mr Rowlands and Mr Williams were both surprised and humbled by the honour.
