Victoria Police is investigating the circumstances surrounding an alleged serious assault in Pakenham.
The incident is believed to have taken place at a residential property on Tuesday 6 August, just after 9.30pm.
While police couldn’t provide information about the nature of the incident, they said the parties involved were known to each other.
In a statement to the Gazette, Ambulance Victoria confirmed they also responded to the property.
A woman was treated at the scene and transported to hospital in a stable condition.
The investigation remains ongoing.
