Family, friends and members of the Inner Wheel Club of Pakenham gathered at Millhaven Lodge in Pakenham to celebrate the past year for the annual Changeover last month.
Fifty-five Inner Wheel members, their partners and guests acknowledged the work of outgoing president Marcia Rook, her committee and members and welcomed incoming president Pam Chalmers and her committee and members over afternoon tea.
Pauline Morris officiated on the day and Inner Wheel A62 district chairman Kate Luxford and her husband were present.
Entertainment for the afternoon was provided by the lovely voice of Lucy De Silva, a 14-year-old guest.
Ms Luxford reminded guests of the satisfaction which can be gained by being a member of an Inner Wheel Club.
This satisfaction is gained from strong friendship within and between Inner Wheel groups, and from carrying out community work for local and farther afield projects.
Ms Rook presented 25 year service badges to ladies who had been in an Inner Wheel Group for at least 25 years.
She thanked her committee for the past year and a DVD produced by Deb James was played, highlighting the fun and hard work which had occurred over the past 12 months.
Ms Chalmers was welcomed in as president by Ms Rook.
When the collar was passed to Ms Chalmers, the new committee was introduced.
