Three drink drivers – unknown to one another – were intercepted by police this morning, Wednesday 5 June.
The first offender, a 22-year-old Berwick man, was caught at 3.50am on the Princes Highway in Narre Warren.
The silver Holden Commodore sedan was pulled over by Dandenong Highway Patrol and the man returned an alleged evidentiary breath test of 0.060.
The P2 driver will have his licence disqualified for six months.
A short time later, the Pakenham police divisional van spotted a red Mazda hatch on the Princes Highway about 4.05am.
The vehicle was intercepted shortly after on Eagle Drive in Pakenham and a 55-year-old Pakenham woman returned an alleged evidentiary breath test of 0.056.
Her licence has been suspended and she is expected to be issued with a penalty notice for drink driving.
Just 15 minutes later, an eagle eyed sergeant from Emerald observed a utility stopped in the middle of Princes Highway.
The driver of the white Ford tray continued driving for a short time and was intercepted by police nearby.
A 21-year-old Indian National man who was the holder of an international licence, was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
He returned an alleged evidentiary breath test of 0.124.
An application for a vehicle impound will be submitted by police.
He is no longer able to drive on his international licence whilst in Australia.
