A car carrying two children was allegedly run off the road in a frightening near-miss in Cockatoo.
It is believed the car was travelling south along Pakenham Road when it lost control around a bend and rolled onto its side about 1pm on Tuesday 7 August.
The driver, a 32-year-old Pakenham woman and her 3-year-old and 6-year-old, who were in the car, did not sustain injuries and were taken to hospital for observation.
The exact cause of the crash is yet to be determined, however the shaken mother claimed she was run off the road by a vehicle travelling on the wrong side of the road.
One lane has been closed southbound.
