Four charged, haul of items seized

 Four people have been arrested after police uncovered a trove of allegedly stolen goods during a raid in Officer on Tuesday.

Jewellery, power tools and electronics, including $12,000 worth of camera equipment, were seized from a property on Bayview Road.

Police believe the offenders could be responsible for at least four burglaries spanning across Officer, Pakenham, Cranbourne North and Mount Waverly.

Cardinia’s Crime Investigation Unit also yielded a small quantity of drugs during the search.

All four of the alleged perpetrators were arrested, but subsequently granted bail.

A 26-year-old Officer man will face four counts of burglary, three counts of theft, possess proceeds of a crime and possessing a drug of dependence.

A 42-year-old Officer man was charged with three counts of burglary and two counts of theft, while a 31-year-old female accomplice was charged in relation to handling stolen goods and drug possession.

Police also charged a Mulgrave woman, 32, with burglary.
