School brings family and friends together

Dennis and Deanna Pilikidis spread the Christmas cheer with their impressive costumes.

Christmas came early to Bunyip at Columba Catholic Primary School’s annual Christmas Carols night.
The evening was a huge success, according to school principal Jan Gubbins.
“We were so proud of the students, not only for their enthusiasm but also for their patience, creativity and helpfulness,” she said.
“The carols highlighted the many performing arts activities in which students are involved throughout the year and these activities are designed to challenge students to try new experiences and learn in different ways.
“The whole staff worked together to ensure the success of the evening and I thank each and every one of them for their contribution and dedication to the school. What a great team!”
Held at the Bunyip stadium on Wednesday 6 December, the event brought families and friends together for an evening of singing, dress ups and spreading Christmas cheer.
“A huge thank you to all our parents for the wonderful costumes and to the members of the school board, parents and friends for their kind words and support of the school community.
“Of course, many thanks to our wonderful Grade 6 students for continuing to be such great Columba kids.”
