The Mobile Library Service will stop at Nar Nar Goon Primary School on its weekly round from Thursday 23 March.
The service was previously only provided at Maryknoll and Cockatoo locations.
With the Casey Cardinia Libraries’ mobile service the busiest in Victoria, receiving nearly 55,000 visits a year, Casey Cardinia Libraries CEO Chris Buckingham said the service’s importance to local communities warranted a trial expansion.
“We had a good hard look at our weekly timetable for ways that we could deliver a much needed service to the whole Nar Nar Goon community,” Mr Buckingham said.
A new timetable will be trialled for six months to make sure that it works well for all people in Maryknoll, Nar Nar Goon and Cockatoo.
The new Mobile Library timetable is 11.30am-12.30pm Nar Nar Goon, 1pm-2pm Maryknoll, 2.45pm-6.30pm Cockatoo.
