JUSTICE evaders have been warned there will be no escaping the law in Cardinia Shire.
Police are soon set to form a dedicated unit to track down and apprehend crims out on warrants.
More than 100 offenders in the shire are wanted by police, and they’ve been urged to come forward voluntarily or else be subject to intelligence tracking and investigation.
The police operation will be carried out by several uniform officers, and seek to locate alleged offenders who’ve failed to front court such as 26-year-old Lisa Kok.
Ms Kok, who frequents the Pakenham, Cranbourne and Endeavour Hills area, is wanted for outstanding warrants relating to an arrest charge.
She is described as being 165cm tall, with a medium build and blue eyes.
Another person wanted on outstanding warrants is 29-year-old Charles Taylor, known to frequent the Pakenham and Belgrave area.
He has failed to front court over drugs, driving and dishonest offences.
He’s 167cm tall, with a medium build and brown eyes.
Police are also calling for Ashley Hunt, 27, to hand herself in over alleged theft, deception and driving offences.
She is known to frequent Pakenham and Cranbourne and is described as 167cm tall, with a medium build and brown eyes.
Pakenham police Senior Sergeant Nathan Prowd said officers last week arrested a person a day, but police intend on ramping up their efforts to get warrant numbers down.
“We will be doing house visits, and if the person has changed address, we will be doing some digging around in our intelligence sources,” he said.
Those with outstanding warrants are asked to call or visit the Pakenham Police Station.
