Win for the battle ready

IN ANOTHER top-of-the-table clash, Beaconsfield’s Netball Club’s A-grade team visited Keysborough primed for battle – and was not disappointed.
With the full side in for the first time this season, Beaconsfield was spoilt for options and made great use of the bench.
The game was one of high defensive pressure with both defensive circles making access for the goalers difficult.
However, Beaconsfield managed to create a 12-goal lead by half-time and gain final victory by 16.
The combination in defence between Hogan, Gargan, Kennedy and Clark was a real strength and will cause many teams some headaches in the weeks to come.
