What do you love most about working in the disability sector and with the Live 2 Achieve team?
What I love most is seeing the joy on our participants faces with each achievement they make and seeing them accomplish goals that they never thought were possible.
If you had to choose, who would your biggest inspiration in life be and why?
I am inspired by my participants, because despite all the difficulties they face in their day to day lives, they always show up happy and have a smile on their face.
What would your last meal be?
If I could choose my last meal, it would be prawns and a huge green salad.

What I love most about the Pakenham community is that they are down to earth people who love connection and helping others.

Loved cooking! I managed to win a cooking competition called “Top Teenage Cook”. I received a huge trophy that was half the size of me!
If you could choose anywhere in the world to visit, where would you go and why?
I would choose to go back to my roots and visit the Greek island my mother was born on called Ithaca. I haven’t visited the island since I was a child and I would love to go back to connect with my family and my heritage again.
What is something people don’t know about you?
I almost lost my life in a car accident when I was 16. I was hospitalised for over 2 months with serious head injuries and spinal injuries. I am very grateful to have survived that.
What’s your favourite book and why?
Wonder by R.J Palacio. It’s a beautiful book about a boy with disabilities and the struggles he faces to fit in, and it delivers a really touching message about individuality and kindness.
And do you have any irrational fears?
I’m scared of bridges that that have thin railings because I worry that I will trip and fall off.
Which six guests, dead or alive, would you invite to a special dinner party?
I would invite Nelson Mandela because I admire what he stood for, my late grandfathers and grandmother so I can say goodbye to them, and my husband so he can meet my guests. My last guest would not be a person, but my cat who died many years ago because I miss him very much.
