Brick smashes truck windscreen

Police are appealing for witnesses after a brick was thrown at a truck on the Princes Freeway at Pakenham on Saturday 18 November.
The incident happened as the west-bound truck drove under the McGregor Road overpass at 3.50am.
Police believe someone threw the brick from the overpass, smashing the truck’s windscreen and showering the driver with glass.
The driver, a 32-year-old Traralgon man, was not injured.
Pakenham police Acting Sergeant Tim Parker said that the incident was dangerous and senseless.
“People do things like this and may think it is funny at the time but the consequences could have been serious if not fatal,” Acting Sergeant Parker said.
