Equipment show for small holdings

Local companies and organisations will be exhibiting the latest farm machinery, implements, power equipment and cutting edge farm technology at this year's Small Farm and Lifestyle Expo.

It’s time to mark the diary for the return of the Small Farm and Lifestyle Expo to be held at the famous Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit on 4 and 5 November.
This year’s expo is set to be bigger and better with a mix of classic and new attractions including tractors, ride-on mowers, ag bikes, garden tools, pumps, generators, chainsaw sculpture, sheep shearing demonstrations and so much more.
Local companies and organisations will be exhibiting the latest farm machinery, implements, power equipment and cutting-edge farm technology.
Following previous years success, many of the main equipment suppliers are preparing to return for the 2017 expo.
Both internal and external sites are still available and Managing Director of the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit Fergus Cameron encouraged potential exhibitors to contact the circuit for more details.
“This is the ideal way for exhibitors to build their brand awareness, generate new sales leads and prospects not only over the two days but into the future which will benefit everyone,” Mr Cameron said
“Having the Farm Expo at the beginning of Melbourne Cup week means there will be plenty of people around not only in the region but on the island itself.
“Every weekend is busy here so the exhibitors should expect to see a lot of patrons.
“We are also looking at introducing some family friendly activities such as sheep dog demonstrations, face painting, shearing demonstrations and a lot more so it has a real family feel whilst also delivering quality products and prospects.”
A dedicated rough terrain area will also feature, allowing for quad bikes, gators, ag bikes and four-wheel-drive vehicles to be put through their paces.
Similarly, a working farm area will showcase the latest farm machinery, tractors, slashers and ride-on mowers.
With easy parking and access for exhibitors and patrons to the expansive grassed external sites and purpose built pavilion, there is no better setting for the Small Farm and Lifestyle Expo than the Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit.
