Beaconsfield Guardian Pharmacy has been named Guardian Pharmacy of the Year.
The prestigious title was awarded to the local store at the recent Southern Regional Pharmacy Assistant Annual Conference, where employee Sheena Izadi also took home the title of Pharmacy Assistant of the Year.
The Southern region awards represented Victoria and Tasmania, and consisted of 30-plus Guardian pharmacies, which competed in the awards.
The Guardian Pharmacy of the Year award was presented to the Beaconsfield store for its commitment to brand standards, service standards and, at the same time, developing a positive team culture and consistently delivering an exceptional customer service experience.
Ms Izadi was recognised with her own award for her individual efforts in achieving those standards.
The pharmacy thanked its customers and community for “making our jobs so worthwhile and fulfilling”.
“You are the reason we are here; you are the reason we will continue to strive to deliver the best possible service we can,” the pharmacy told its supporters in a social media post.
“Thank you for all of your support and loyalty, and we look forward to being a part of all of your health solutions.
Held on the first weekend in September, the conference included professional services sessions, industry speakers, management master classes and informative sessions of products and suppliers.
