A truck driver from Drouin has had his licence suspended after being detected driving allegedly under the influence of drugs in Leongatha on 11 July.
According to police, the 16-tonne truck driven by the 53-year-old man was intercepted during a routine check in Anderson Street at 11.30am.
It was discovered the truck’s load was not properly secured and the driver was allegedly under the influence of illicit drugs.
Police also found the driver had both made false entries and failed to make entries in the vehicle’s log book.
The man’s licence was suspended for three months, and he received fines totalling $960.
