Local accounting firm Casey Partners – together with a loyal group of regular sponsors, including local solicitor, Andrew Gray, Mercedes Benz Berwick, HFH Auto Group and Active Display Group – recently held their annual Corporate Golf Day for the benefit of the Make-A- Wish Foundation.
The day, now in its 23rd year, this has become the most successful single day event for Make-a-Wish from a third party supporter in Victoria and this year made $47,300.
From this day over the years, $640,000 has been raised and many wishes have been made possible.
Always held in the first week of winter, once again blue skies greeted the golfers, with the team of Jason’s Restaurant at Bradford Estate Winery in Upper Beaconsfield coming away with the trophy.
Everyone who attended sat down to an enjoyable lunch, presentations and entertainment.
They enjoyed hearing from local businessman Paul Beck of Berwick Auto Electrical and Mechanical about the wish granted to Paul’s daughter Sophie and the family.
