Participating in Melbourne’s Mother’s Day Classic event last Sunday was Pakenham’s Team Webster of Scott, Lucy, Jake, Rosie, Owen and Bree, who met up with Channel Nine newsreaders Jo Hall, Alicia Loxley and Peter Hitchener.
“The Breast Cancer fundraiser celebrates its 20th year in 2017, and we are very proud and happy to support the event,” Rosie Webster said.
“The huge crowd – in a sea of pink – was a spectacular sight and the event was a lot of fun for such a serious cause.
“Everyone goes to such a terrific effort to dress up in crazy colourful costumes and walk (or run) the 4km or 8km circuit with their family or fundraising group, and our family is already talking about what to wear in next year’s event and which course to tackle.”
