Sue Johns is well-known around Pakenham for spreading community spirit wherever she goes and her latest good deed is no exception.
Thanks to the donation of a giant six-kilogram Easter egg and an assortment of hampers, local residents can share in the Easter treat while going in the draw to win the perfect Mother’s Day gift.
On Thursday 4 May at 2pm, Sue will crack open the giant egg outside All About Chocolates & Lollies on Pakenham’s Main Street to share with the community, uniting people through their love of chocolate.
She has asked attendees to bring a small note explaining why their mum or motherly figure is “the best”, for the chance to win one of three hampers – a floral bouquet, an assortment of pet accessories and treats, or a chocolate and sweet basket.
The note must contain a contact name and number, and winners will be contacted on 5 May for pick-up.
Sue said her latest venture was something fun the community could get involved in while celebrating both Easter and Mother’s Day.
All are welcome to attend.
