On Friday 3 February, the Probus Club of Pakenham held its AGM.
Ken Rook from Rotary took the elections of the new committee and members greeted the new line-up for the next 12 months.
The club was delighted to welcome new member Cornelia (Lia) Van Diemen.
After the meeting members enjoyed a two-course lunch supplied by the ladies of the Pakenham Bowls Club.
With so many activities each month, a new Caravan and Cabin group was formed.
The first outing is a week-long trip to Marong, 15km from Bendigo, starting on Sunday 7 May.
The good thing about this venue is it has a meeting hall so this is where members will meet for discussions, outings, meals and ideas.
A pancake meal is being organised as is a best soup competition.
A small group of eight have booked and the number is expected to grow at a meeting on Thursday 9 April at the home of Merle and Neil Speedie.
Many outings and events have been discussed and planned to make the seven days eventful and fun.
If any of the members need to find out more about cabins, powered sites etc they should feel free to call Marya or Max King on 0438 343 309.
The next meeting is on Friday 7 April at the Pakenham Bowls Club.
