The Emerald community farewelled 60 years of town history on Saturday.
The diamond anniversary of the town’s Mechanics Institute Hall also signified its last, with the building to be renovated as part of the Hills Hub project.
Saturday’s celebration included a sausage sizzle, hall trivia, live music and historical recounts, with community members of all walks of life coming together to reflect on their memories of the beloved building.
