Heading new students in the right direction

Grace Emptage and Nick Mark give a thumbs up to university life.

Orientation week has kicked off at Federation University Berwick with a string of educational and social events.
Berwick’s newest university students enjoyed free breakfasts on Monday and Tuesday, along with barbecue lunches, fun games and a live DJ.
O Week, as it is known, was officially kicked off with a warm welcome by FedUni Vice-Chancellor Professor Andy Smith.
“On behalf of the university I welcome all of our new students and wish them all the best during their time here at FedUni and beyond,” Professor Smith said.
“Orientation Week is the perfect opportunity for our new students to socialise, make new friends and embrace university life.”
Student Experience Officers are also on hand at the campus this week to assist new students.
