Two forgotten Tattslotto tickets worth a combined $1.26 million remain unclaimed, with the winners believed to be somewhere in Berwick and Officer.
One of the tickets is worth $757,320 and was purchased from Arena Lucky Lotto, Kiosk 2 in the Arena Shopping Centre, 4 Cardinia Road in Officer.
That ticket won division one almost two months ago in TattsLotto draw 3697 on Saturday 24 December 2016.
The second forgotten ticket is worth more than $509,614 and was purchased from Berwick Lucky Lotto, 33 High Street in Berwick.
Almost three weeks ago, Berwick’s unclaimed ticket won division one in TattsLotto draw 3707 on Saturday 28 January 2017.
Both of the division one winning tickets can by claimed from Tatts for six months, but after that time they will be sent to the Victorian State Revenue Office and our winners’ prize money will be forfeit.
Tatts spokesperson Claire Taylor said it was disappointing to see the prize money left unclaimed when it could be fulfilling the winner’s dreams instead.
“It would be such a shame to see these division one prizes go unclaimed, when so many people dream about being one of the ‘lucky’ ones,” Ms Taylor said.
“We want nothing more than to pay these prizes to the winning ticket holders, if only they’d check their tickets and phone us.”
Ms Taylor and Tattslotto is urging anyone in the South-East who bought a ticket and hasn’t checked their numbers to do so immediately.
“If you purchased an unregistered TattsLotto ticket in South-East Melbourne in the last two months, there’s a very good reason to go looking for it,” Ms Taylor said.
“You know that feeling you get when you find a couple of dollars under the couch cushion? Well, imagine finding out your forgotten lotto ticket is worth three quarters of a million dollars.”
“If you discover you are holding one of the division one winning TattsLotto tickets, please keep it in safe place and contact Tatts on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”
