Man wanted over brutal bashing

An man accused of assault is wanted by police.

A MAN is wanted by police over a group assault in Beaconsfield last month that left a man with severe bruising and missing teeth.
The victim was walking home from The Central Hotel, Beaconsfield, along the Princes Highway, about 9.30pm on Friday 1 July, when approached by the man and then punched in the face.
A further two men approached the victim and struck him with a metal pole. They went on to kick him while he lay on the ground, causing him to lose several teeth and sustain cuts and bruising to his body.
The wanted man has been described as being 175cm tall, with a thin build and dark hair tied in a bun.
