Thieves after Myki money

The ticketing machine's tracking device led police to Labertouche where it was found dumped an hour later.

A MYKI machine ripped from Longwarry train station was found dumped up the road in the dead of night.
Police believe the machine was extracted from the concrete post about 2am on Monday 30 May.
An internal tracking device led police to the machine dumped on a Labertouche road an hour later.
It is unclear if any money was taken from the machine.
The incident is under investigation by the Transit Safety Division.
